All the chairs I met with this design over the years had lost their shape and were just terrible to sit on. This foam acts as a very strong and I am sure will last a long time. It folds into a bed comfortable for a child or youth. An adult may be too high for it, but it would work in a pinch. If you are looking for a chair that will hold up well, consider this. Negative light "inside" the chair that you sleep is not the same micro-suede material, so it's not so easy to clean. The hinges bottom to cushion the other, always seems to come halfway undone. It is not enough to disturb sleep, just a little 'annoying. I think the price is a bit "steep for a chair than the alternatives teenager, but I think it could be worth in the long run.
